Building High-Performing Teams

Creating a motion graphic that effectively illustrates the Bruce Tuckman’s Model is more than just a technical exercise; it's a strategic learning intervention. In the context of the course "Building High Performing Teams", this video serves as a critical bridge between psychological concepts and practical, visual understanding.

Using Adobe After Effects, the design was built on several layers of complexity to ensure both engagement and pedagogical clarity.

Conceptual Translation: The five stages—Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing, and Adjourning—were represented through evolving iconography. These visuals don't just "show" the stage; they use movement and grouping to mirror the fluctuating tension and alignment inherent in team development.

Visual Continuity & Rhythm: Subtle keyframing and easing were used to create a "human" feel to the movements, avoiding robotic transitions.

Layered Storytelling: Beyond the primary text, the backgrounds and color palettes shift to reflect the emotional temperature of each phase (e.g., the "lightning" motif during the Storming stage), providing a multi-sensory reinforcement of the learning objectives.
